Sausages

We have an array of award winning sausages available, with a variety of traditional and more innovative flavours. Made from fresh local produce there is something to suit all tastes.

John Penny & Son Beef

Supplied to our satisfaction from specialist succler herds, and matured for a minimum of 14 days for roasting joints and a minimum 21 days for sirloin, rump and fillet steaks.

John Penny & Son Lamb

Reared in the local area the lamb is purchased from nearby Darlington Market.

Anna’s Happy Trotters Pork

Free range pork from Yorkshire! Anna’s Happy Trotters are fed on grain from the farm and live outside their whole lives. This fresh, free range flavour is hard to beat!

Poultry

All of our poultry is British, with barn reared birds coming from Cumbria, and free range chickens and ducks from Blagdon Estate in Northumbria.

Delicatessen

Call into the shop to see our mouth-watering range of home cooked meats, savouries, stuffed peppers and olives, sandwich fillings and cheeses. We also have relishes, pickles, chutneys, dips, preserves and jams. Pop in and pick up a hearty home made lunch!

Ready Meals

We have a fantastic range of ready-made meals, prepared by hand in store with our premium quality meats, vegetables and sauces. Wholesome and delicious, all you need to do is put your meal in the oven!
